Regarding product details, both single-layer and double-layer sandals offer arch support, but the double-layer variant raises the heel by 5/16th of an inch, catering to those with high arches or who wear insoles. For in-between sizes, the recommendation is to size down. To break in the sandals, customers have found that wedging a tennis ball or water bottle under the straps overnight, as well as wearing socks, can help the straps mold to the foot. Light soap and a damp cloth can be used for cleaning, though the company does not cover water damage or delamination resulting from cleaning. If the leather gets wet, it's advised to allow the sandals to dry completely out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from becoming brittle and cracking. With continued use, the sandals should flatten out and return to their normal state.
